Position : Science Teacher
Location : New Hampshire
Employment Type : Full‑time
Start Date : ASAP
Total Hours Per Week : 35 hours per week
Duration of Contract : New School Year 2025‑26
Responsibilities
Plan, develop and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with state standards and the school's curriculum
Design hands‑on experiments and activities that promote inquiry‑based learning and student engagement
Encourage curiosity and critical thinking through exploration of life, earth and physical sciences
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners and varying ability levels
Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative tools and provide constructive feedback
Integrate technology, lab equipment and multimedia tools to enhance scientific understanding
Collaborate with colleagues and school leadership to support interdisciplinary and project‑based learning initiatives
Maintain a safe and organized laboratory and classroom environment
Communicate effectively with students, parents and staff to promote academic success and growth
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Science Education or a related field required
Master's degree in Education or Science preferred
Valid California Teaching Credential in Science (Single Subject) or Multiple Subject with science focus required
Previous experience teaching science at the elementary or middle school level preferred
Strong understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS)
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Ability to inspire students through creativity, enthusiasm and a hands‑on approach to learning
Proficiency in integrating technology into classroom instruction
