Deliver pizza and related products within the designated delivery area, ensuring quality and timely service.
Job Duties
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car and then to the door of the customer. Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Training Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for precise movements with speed.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings and private homes.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions; in‑store temperatures range from 36°F to 90°F+ in some work areas. Work may involve fumes, cornmeal dust, hot surfaces up to 500°F+. Tasks may require standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, and bending.
