Job Duties
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Deliver product by car and then to the door of the customer; also deliver flyers and door hangers.
Operate all equipment.
Prepare product.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle for delivery.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to process orders over the phone and in person.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide) and ability to give correct monetary change.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Navigation skills to read a map and locate addresses within the designated delivery area, including adverse terrain such as multi‑story buildings and private homes.
Work Conditions Varying weather; temperatures from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in hot areas; occasional exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and hot surfaces up to 500°F. Requires standing, walking, carrying up to 50 lb cases, pushing or pulling trays, bending, squatting, and climbing stairs. Manual handling and navigation of adverse terrain are part of the role.
