Maman offers a selection of delicious baked goods, coffee, fresh breakfast, and lunch options spanning from hearty salads & sandwiches to savory quiches. In addition to hosting intimate events, Maman has partnered with leading brands for partnerships and activations.
We’re looking for a line to join our team! Our ideal candidate is passionate about food, beverages, and excellent customer service. You love cookies, are always ready to lend a helping hand to a colleague, and don’t take yourself too seriously. When you join our team, you’ll be responsible for providing a friendly, helpful, and responsive level of collaboration with the full BOH team. You will be based at any of the Maman locations that are particularly close to home. Let us know when you come in for an interview and we will do our best to accommodate!
What You’ll Do
Keep the kitchen/BOH space in pristine, clean, and organized shape
Learn Maman’s recipes and follow the recipe book’s instructions
Always ensure consistency in quality and aesthetics of Maman’s dishes
Occasionally assist the various BOH teams during slow times
Maintain safety standards while adhering to Maman’s policies and procedures
Great communication with the BOH team
What We’re Looking For
Line experience & seasoned back‑of‑house professional with a sweet tooth for cookies
Great kitchen skills
Ability to keep your head down and concentrate during a rush shift; handles pressure well and knows when to have a laugh with colleagues
Engaging and welcoming communication skills & presence
Hospitality passion; keeps up with the latest industry trends
Commitment to quality, aesthetics, and top‑notch customer experience
Creates a positive atmosphere for teammates and guests alike
Carries out work positively and collaboratively to meet the highest standards of delivery
Quick learner; multitasking comes naturally; adapts to Maman’s unique culture
Smart, no ego, upbeat, friendly, and efficiency‑oriented
Willing to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and special events
Brings humor and camaraderie when teamwork is needed
