General Accountabilities
Serves food, beverages, or desserts to guests at take‑out counters of a 24/7 café venue.
Performs cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and transporting dishes to keep equipment and facilities sanitary; scrubs and polishes counters, cleans tables, and cleans glasses, dishes, and fountain equipment.
Prepares bills using MICROS POS, accepts payment or makes change, and balances receipts and payments in cash drawers.
Prepares food items such as sandwiches, pizzas, and salads, following standard formulas or directions, delivers orders to the kitchen, and picks up and serves food when ready.
Provides friendly, quick, professional service, demonstrating willingness to serve guests with a smile.
Checks to ensure that all foods are displayed attractively as per departmental standard.
Handles food appropriately, maintaining proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
Informs supervisor when food quantities are low.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; one year of food service experience preferred.
Strong customer service skills.
Previous cash handling experience.
Exceeds expectations both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, and walk throughout the duration of the shift.
Ability to tolerate second‑hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environments.
