40–50 hours per week (Monday – Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM; Fridays as needed)
Job Overview NGSG has immediate openings for an INDUSTRIAL PAINTER. Minimum of 2 years of experience in coatings operations within an industrial environment, including preparation (pressure wash, cleaning, sanding, masking, rolling) and coatings application (brush, roll, spray) with epoxies and urethanes. Primary duties focus on adhering to company policies, multitasking, and conducting coatings operations safely under minimal supervision with maximal efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Perform surface preparation including pressure washing, sanding, masking, and rolling.
Apply coatings using brush, roll, and spray methods (primarily epoxies and urethanes).
Adhere to company safety protocols and operational procedures.
Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high efficiency.
Perform additional duties as needed, including:
Moderate forklift operation.
Minimal concrete work.
General support tasks across the facility.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial painting/coatings.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift).
Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds regularly.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Must be able to perform physical activities requiring use of arms, legs, and full body movement (e.g., climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching).
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required to safely operate welding equipment and hand tools.
Visual acuity necessary to read blueprints, measure components, and inspect welds for quality and accuracy.
Must tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, dust, noise, and fabrication shop conditions.
Ability to wear required PPE including welding hood, gloves, steel‑toed boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
Strong attention to detail and safety.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be available for an in‑person interview (required).
