First Student is a leading provider of transportation services for 5 million students and passengers daily. We are recruiting Part‑Time School Van Drivers for Stoughton, MA.
Position Overview As a Part‑Time School Van Driver, you will provide safe transportation for students before and after school, typically in a split shift with free hours in between. No driving experience is required; we provide training.
Responsibilities Drive a school van for split shift (morning pickup and afternoon drop‑off). Ensure safety and security of students. Maintain accurate logs and report any incidents. Follow school and company policies and DOT regulations.
Benefits $21 per hour after training. Medical, dental, and vision benefits plus 401(k) (availability may vary). Career advancement opportunities.
Qualifications Age 21 or older. Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years. High school diploma or GED not required. Acceptable criminal background, military experience, and other inclusive criteria as stated.
Requirements Ability to work split shift; no nights or weekends unless desired.
Drug Testing and Safety This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety‑sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason. In Washington state, all driver positions are subject to drug and alcohol testing.
