Dishwasher / General Utility As an Applebee’s Dishwasher / General Utility, you will help keep the back‑of‑house clean and operate smoothly. You will work hard but have a great time doing it.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness of dish areas, kitchen floors, and general back‑of‑house environment.
Assist with general utility tasks such as mopping, trash removal, and other support duties.
Work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment while communicating effectively with teammates.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18 years old.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Commitment to making a positive impact on back‑of‑house operations.
Ability to stand and move for extended periods of up to four (4) hours.
Compensation & Benefits Applebee’s® Dishwashers start at minimum wage up to $21 per hour, plus tips (tip‑out). Competitive wages plus tips, healthcare benefits, flexible schedule, meal discounts, and paid sick leave.
Physical Standards
Stationary and well‑paced mobility for up to four (4) hours.
Safe reach, bend, stoop, and frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work frequently in a hot and damp environment.
Finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
Wear protective hand coverings and disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout shift.
Wear protective face coverings and/or masks throughout shift.
Frequent hand washing with disinfecting soap during shift.
