The Oasis at Death Valley is situated in a lush, spring-fed desert oasis, surrounded by the vast and arid desert of Death Valley National Park. The Oasis operates the historic AAA Four Diamond Inn and Ranch, restaurants, gift shops, and the world's lowest elevation golf course. Both hotels are open year-round and feature swimming pools fed by naturally warm local springs.

Job Summary The Restaurant Supervisor will assist in supervising The Oasis at Death Valley F&B operations. This position is responsible for all front of house operations, as assigned, including overseeing customer service, employee relations, reservations and ensures that proper department standards and food handling procedures are followed.

Position Type: Full-time, Year-round
Start Dates: As soon as possible on next available check-in date (approximately three weeks)
Pay: $23.50/hr.
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (will include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities
Provide superior guest and employee relations experience.
Resolve guest related issues promptly.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills demonstrated in a customer-oriented environment.
Follow F&B Manager direction to coordinate and facilitate F&B operations to provide quality service and product for our guests.
Supervisory functions include but are not limited to: employee relations, conflict resolution, skills training, staff meetings, safety training and overseeing reservations.
Responsible for additional supervisory and/or related duties assigned including voids; handling walk outs and submitting important departmental documents in a timely manner.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience in a Front of House (FOH) restaurant position. This includes roles such as host/hostess, server, bartender, or FOH supervisor. A strong understanding of guest service, dining room operations, and team coordination in a fast-paced restaurant environment is essential.
Must be able to work within flexible work schedule, as schedule may include mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
Knowledge in food and beverage products such as wine, beer, spirits, fine dining service, food safety, liquor laws and bartending.
Must complete a company mandatory cash-handling class.
Must be team-oriented with the ability to accomplish goals and projects.
Must be detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Valid driver's license.
Physical Demands
Physical abilities to include: lifting, carrying, bending, walking, standing, stooping and turning.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to climb up/down stairs.
