As a Steward, you play an essential role in supporting our Dining Services team by ensuring a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining environment. Your work helps ensure smooth meal service and upholds high standards of cleanliness for our residents and team members.

What You Will Do

Operate dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment

Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dish room areas, including floors, walls, and trash receptacles

Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as needed

Remove trash, recyclables, and compost according to procedures

Follow safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards in accordance with health regulations

Support culinary and dining staff to ensure smooth and timely meal service

Restock supplies and assist with organization of kitchen areas

Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly

Interact with residents, staff, and visitors with courtesy and professionalism

Perform additional steward or kitchen support duties as assigned

What You Bring

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Previous dishwashing, steward, or kitchen experience preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Strong work ethic with attention to cleanliness and detail

Dependable, respectful, and service-oriented attitude

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
