Position Summary
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about supporting the training of Soldiers and units on Machine Command Information System (MCIS) such as Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC‑P), WARSIM, and Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM). The MCIS Trainer provides hands‑on instruction to Soldiers regarding multiple facets of MCIS functionality and constructive simulations. The trainer teaches in classroom or field training environments.
What You’ll Do
Develop, organize, and maintain an operator training focused Training Support Package (TSP) for assigned system(s) of responsibility.
Utilize official system training products or commercial software/hardware developer’s material to provide operator‑level training.
Deliver training within a classroom environment in accordance with established MTC TSPs.
Monitor student enrollment, attendance, and academic reports; prepare training activity records, rosters, and program effectiveness reports.
Maintain accuracy of student survey and demographic data.
Demonstrate proficiency in Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Joint Battle Command‑Platform (JBC‑P), Joint Deployment Logistics Model (JDLM), Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), and Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data System (AFATDS).
Requirements and Qualifications
Achieve instructor validations for CPOF, JBC‑P, and JDLM within 90 days of start.
Capable of transporting and lifting 50‑pound boxes of documents and equipment.
Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of three years of related experience.
US citizenship.
Active Secret security clearance.
