Overview We are looking for a courteous, hardworking front waiter to join our team in Rockville, MD. The position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, a positive work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and training.
Pay Pay Range: $1,000 – $1,500 per week.
Availability Weekend and holiday coverage required. Minimum of 4 shifts per week.
Key Responsibilities
Greet new parties and warmly welcome guests to the restaurant.
Inform guests of menu choices and make suggestions.
Relay orders to the bar and kitchen using the point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
Anticipate guests’ needs and respond appropriately.
Establish a friendly, professional rapport with guests.
Bus tables when the meal is completed and prepare the table for the next course.
Determine the bill, accept payment, cash out the check, and make change.
Problem‑solve guest needs with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
Extend closing greetings to guests as they leave, thanking them for their patronage.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, hardworking, and hospitality‑driven with a commitment to excellence.
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to handle customer matters with courtesy, dignity, and respect.
Capable of multitasking effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed.
