Join Fred Meyer as a Courtesy Clerk/Grocery Bagger and help provide an outstanding customer experience. In this role you will bag groceries, assist with loading items into customers' cars, maintain a clean and safe environment, and provide information about specials. You will also support other store duties such as shelf conditioning and returning merchandise.

Essential Job Functions
Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring at least five items per bag and protecting contents.
Follow best practices for bagging types (reusable, plastic, paper).
Assist customers in removing items from bascarts and loading bags into their cars.
Perform basic shelf conditioning and return merchandise to shelves.
Inform customers of grocery specials.
Gather and return bascarts to designated areas.
Clean spills, pick up trash inside store and parking lot, and keep all areas clean.
Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
Locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
Identify unsafe conditions and report to management.
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
Perform preventive maintenance checks and report equipment issues.
Create a welcoming environment by answering product questions.
Comply with local, state and federal laws and company guidelines.
Work cooperatively in high‑paced environments.
Manage conflict constructively.
Act with honesty and integrity.
Follow directions and seek assistance when needed.
Assist minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
