Responsibilities

Move tractor trailers around/to and from docks on premises

Maintain appropriate fuel levels (driving cab only)

Fill orders using packing lists as a guide to pick various items

Print packing lists and place packing lists on boxes

Use an RF scanner to pick items within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Use the WMS to group orders that will ship using the same carrier

Use forklift or pallet jack to move pallets to designated areas

Operate a forklift to retrieve various items

Continuously lift and move up to 50-lb containers from pick slots to forklifts

Determine the proper box size for orders and pack properly to ensure quality

Perform basic mathematical calculations

Follow safety regulations

Perform other related duties, as required or directed

Qualifications

Previous experience operating a standup forklift and/or pallet jack

Previous distribution or warehouse experience

Basic computer skills
