About Our Client Addison Group is partnering with an established organization within the higher education space to identify an Administrative Assistant to support faculty and internal programs. This client offers a professional, structured environment and values collaboration, accuracy, and reliability.
Job Description The Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and clerical support to faculty leadership and internal teams. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced office setting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide administrative and clerical support to faculty, staff, and department leadership
Prepare, edit, and proofread correspondence, reports, presentations, and internal documents
Coordinate calendars, meetings, and schedules, including virtual meetings using Zoom
Create and format documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe/PDF tools
Assist with learning management systems and internal platforms as needed
Manage email communication and correspondence through Microsoft Outlook
Maintain organized files, records, and data entry systemsSupport cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Prioritize tasks effectively while managing competing deadlines
Qualifications
Previous administrative or secretarial experience required; experience in education or legal environments preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Zoom, Canva, and Adobe/PDF tools
Excellent written communication skills, including formatting and proofreading
High attention to detail with the ability to multitask efficiently
Receptive to feedback and comfortable working in a structured environment
Bachelor’s degree required
