Responsibilities:

Greet patients and visitors.

Interview patients to verify information and enter data into the computer system.

Conduct insurance verifications, scan insurance cards and enter/update computer system.

Schedule appointments for patients.

Collect payment of co-pay, balance due, etc.

Update database consistently.

General Requirements:

High School Degree or GED required.

Completion of Medical Secretary program preferred.

One year of experience in a clinic setting is preferred.

Requires the ability to read, write and understand the English language, and communicate effectively with consumers and colleagues while performing their job duties.
