Qualifications

Teacher or Substitute Teacher License (apply through the Ohio Department of Education)

Transcripts demonstrating a 4‑year degree

Valid Criminal Background Check (BCI and FBI), with results available via the Fairfield County ESC website or your application upload

Substitute Teacher Application filed annually through Applitrack

Fraud Reporting Form filed annually (available on the Fairfield County ESC website and submitted with your application)

Completed Substitute payroll packet (downloaded, filled out, and returned by mail, fax, or in person)
