The primary responsibility of the Driver is to transport physically limited passengers to and from their destinations. The position requires constant interaction with caregivers and community agencies and may include patient care activities and assistance with personal care needs as needed. Work Location:

Education/Experience:
High school degree or equivalent. 1 year experience transporting or caring for individuals with special mobility needs or impaired adults. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment Must be able to operate handicap-accessible vehicles Must meet a standardized set of competencies for the specific position description established by PHSC and approved by CMS before working independently. Licensure, Registry or Certification Required:
Valid NC Driver’s License and an acceptable three-year motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Chart. Class B or C with passenger endorsement preferred, but not required. Immunizations:
Be medically cleared for communicable diseases and have all immunizations up-to-date prior to beginning employment. Pay Range:
$15.15/Hourly - $20.36/Hourly EEO Statement
