Salary: $90,000.00 – $95,000.00 (Part‑time)

Job Summary and Responsibilities
Provide visitations and spiritual support to patients, family members, and employees.
Reduce anxiety and fear, mediate conflict, and offer prayer when appropriate.
Act as liaison to community churches and clergy members on behalf of the hospital, including coordination of patient visits.
Document services and significant interactions in the patient record.
Serve as a contact to the Ethics Committee.
Provide assistance with crisis intervention measures where appropriate.
Offer guidance with advanced directives and ethical issues of patients and families.
Formulate programs and policies to meet the spiritual needs of the organization.
Qualifications
Previous experience working in a hospital setting as a Chaplain – preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
1 unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) accredited by ACPE.
Clinical Pastoral Education completed in a hospital setting – preferred.
Master of Divinity – preferred.
St. David’s North Austin Medical Center is a full‑service medical center with advanced women’s health services, maternity and newborn care, minimally invasive gynecological surgery, comprehensive breast imaging, a 24‑hour emergency department, pediatric emergency care, an intensive care unit, and various specialty services. It also hosts the Texas Institute for Robotic Surgery, bariatric surgery, a Heart and Vascular Center, neurology and neurosurgery, a kidney transplant program, a Level IV Epilepsy Center, as well as inpatient and outpatient surgery and acute rehabilitation services.
