Description of Work This position provides comprehensive support to the Cornplanter Forest District Manager across a range of functions, including administrative tasks, operational duties, communication efforts, personnel management, office administration, employee relations, public relations, and clerical responsibilities. The individual in this role is expected to exercise independent judgment and take initiative, ensuring accurate interpretation and application of policies and procedures set forth by the Commonwealth, the Department, and the Bureau in relation to all administrative and district‑related activities.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full‑time employment
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch
This position will require travel and overtime as needed
Telework: You may work from home part‑time, up to 1 day per month, provided you have a securely configured high‑speed internet connection and work from an approved location in Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you may report to the headquarters office in Warren. Telework availability may change at any time
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non‑negotiable

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Qualifications
Training equivalent to graduation from a four‑year college or university or an equivalent combination of experience and training
Other Requirements
You must meet the Pennsylvania residency requirement
You must be able to perform essential job functions
