About the location A rare gem on Florida’s Gulf Coast of Southwest Florida, Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort, is an exclusive collection of 156 luxurious beachfront private residences and a 222‑room hotel all within a 125‑acre walkable coastal village in the heart of Old Naples. The resort includes residents‑only facilities and amenities, a luxury spa, well‑being and fitness center, fine dining outlets, tennis center, 18‑hole golf course, bowling and movie theater experiences, and an exclusive private club.
About The Role Responsible for supervising and executing the preparation of breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu items in accordance with guest orders, banquet event requirements, and established production schedules. Ensure all dishes meet quality, taste, and presentation standards while maintaining a safe, sanitary, and efficient kitchen environment. Provide leadership and support to line cooks, fostering teamwork and consistency in culinary operations.
What You Will Do
Master a cooking specialty (butcher, oyster, shucker, baker, charcuterie, breakfast cook); prepare food items according to guest orders and recipe cards, following production, portion, and presentation standards; complete mise‑en‑place and set‑up station for breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner service.
Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to prepare beyond estimated needs.
Operate, maintain, and properly clean kitchen equipment, including deep fryer, broiler, stove, steamer, food processor, mixer, slicer, oven, steam table, tilt kettle, waffle iron, and flat top grill.
Date all food containers and rotate as per policies, ensuring that perishable items are kept at proper temperatures; check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up; note any out‑of‑stock items or possible shortages; return unused food items to designated storage areas; assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems; control food waste, loss and usage per policies.
Comply with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
Assist in prep work of vegetables and condiments as required for the next shift.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co‑workers and supervisors.
What You Bring
High school education, cooking school or culinary institute education, or equivalent experience.
Minimum five years of culinary experience with advanced culinary knowledge required; working knowledge generally learned on the job.
Proficient knife skills and ability to multi‑task.
Legal work authorization in the United States and a flexible schedule, ability to work weekends and holidays.
