Cold Kitchen Assembly
to join our
El Segundo
team supporting the
LAX Airport .
We recruit the best talent and invest in their ongoing development, through training and mentoring. We provide opportunities to work across our national network.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and assemble a variety of cold food items for airline passengers following standardized recipes and portioning guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation; ensure proper storage and labeling of ingredients; adhere to temperature control protocols.
Collaborate with the culinary team to understand menu requirements and ensure timely production and delivery of cold items.
Manage inventory levels, track product performance, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Contribute to delivering exceptional food experiences for airline passengers during flights.
Store completed trays in airline storage carts or containers for transport to airplanes.
Follow HACCP/GMP guidelines and dnata Catering sanitation policies.

Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Minimum high school diploma or GED with 1 year of cold food assembly experience
Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
Excellent organization and time management skills; attention to detail
Ability to work with tight deadlines and in a team environment
Strong prioritization and the ability to perform multiple tasks
Valid food handler’s certificate or equivalent
Physical & Work Environment
Regular exposure to cold environments (35-40°F)
Inside work environment; noise levels range from minimal to loud
Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 30 pounds
