Progressive was founded and incorporated in 1971 in Arlington, Texas. Heroux-Devtek Inc. purchased Progressive in 2004 who helped to expand the site which has doubled its manufacturing footprint and more than doubled sales and employee base. In January 2022 Progressive merged with ADI, Aerospace Dynamics Inc. and now ADI Progressive is one of the largest footprints within the Aerostructures Division of PCC. Building upon level 1, with minimal assistance, the

Machinist - Level 2

operates 2-5 axis CNC machine cells as well as standalone machines, which requires basic machine setup including preparing and setting up fixtures and cutting tools, as well as loading and adjusting CNC programs and offsets. The Machinist - Level 2 competencies include the ability to use more advanced quality inspection tools and techniques such as height and air gauges and bench inspection. The Machinist - Level 2 will have basic competencies in print reading and common CNC G and M codes. Typically 2-4 years of experience. Reporting Relationships

High School Diploma or Equivalent Machinist certificate strongly preferred 2-4 years of experience Physical Demands & Working Condition

May be required to move items up to 50 pounds. Daily duties may require sitting, standing, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, operating, and manipulating hand tools. Daily duties may require extended duration of walking. Exposed to a Manufacturing setting with heavy machinery.
