Responsibilities
Layout, test and maintain electrical fixtures, controls, and equipment in any part of the facility’s electrical system, including lighting, power, and communications systems.
Plan proposed installations or repairs using blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches, or verbal instructions and perform the necessary operations in installing and maintaining such equipment.
Perform necessary electrical work connected with construction projects in the plant, including running messenger wiring.
May work on high‑tension lines and more complicated circuits, testing the same for continuity and proper connections using appropriate test equipment.
Tools & Equipment Used
Hand tools, soldering iron, blowtorch, drill presses, pipe bender, ladder, scaffold, measuring instruments, gauges, and meters of various types.
Experience & Other Requirements
Three (3) years’ experience as an electrician on construction or industrial work.
ITAR / EAR Compliance This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Non‑U.S. persons selected must meet eligibility requirements for access to export‑restricted information. The ITAR/EAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
