Responsibilities
Layout, test and maintain electrical fixtures, controls, and equipment in use in any part of the facilities electrical system including light, power and communications systems.
Plans proposed installations or repairs working from blueprints, schematic drawings, sketches or verbal instructions and performs necessary operations in installing and maintaining such equipment.
Performs necessary electrical work connected with construction projects in the plant, running messenger wiring, etc.
May work on high tension lines and the more complicated circuits, and tests same for continuity and proper connections using appropriate test equipment.
Tools & Equipment Used
Hand tools, soldering iron, blowtorch, drill presses, pipe bender, ladder, scaffold measuring instruments, gauges and meters of various types.
Experience & Other Requirements
Three (3) years’ experience as an electrician on construction or industrial work.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR.
