Your Opportunity Taylor Corporation is looking for a Press Operator to join our production team.
Your Responsibilities
Follow detailed job instructions accurately and identify potential errors or issues, taking corrective action as needed
Set up and adjust press equipment to meet job specifications
Monitor product quality during production runs and make adjustments to maintain standards
Monitor equipment performance during runs and report mechanical issues to maintenance as needed
Start up and run jobs according to the production schedule
Perform routine equipment maintenance and general upkeep
Meet established standards for production output, waste, and spoilage
Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area to support efficient shift changeovers
Complete required production logs and paperwork accurately
This role may include work on digital high-speed, multi-color presses with finishing capabilities
Your Shift
Monday through Friday
6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
You Must Have
Mechanical and technical aptitude
Basic math skills, including the ability to read a ruler and calculate dimensions for material optimization
Ability to learn and operate equipment to meet production and quality standards
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written work instructions
Professional communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Requirements Within This Position
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information so others will understand
Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
Constant operation of machinery and handling of printed materials
Frequently required to move throughout the facility
Regularly lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25+ pounds
We Would Also Prefer
Ability to distinguish colors
Experience in a production or manufacturing environment
