Our client in Williamston, SC is looking for a
Maintenance Mechanic
to join their 1st shift team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll support equipment uptime and troubleshoot machinery with a strong focus on electrical systems—all while maintaining a safe and reliable work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Installs, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and physical structure in a manufacturing facility.
Follows company safety policies.
Responsible for all preventative maintenance of press equipment and plant facilities.
Diagnose problems, repair machinery, and make adjustments.
Grease shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
Read and interpret machine manuals to perform required maintenance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High school education or equivalent with at least 3 years of maintenance or related experience.
Excellent, demonstrated mechanical skills.
Demonstrated problem‑solving skills.
Basic knowledge of MIG welders, cutting torches, and fabrication preferred.
Ability to work with little or no supervision.
Good math skills; ability to calculate and comprehend necessary math concepts.
Must focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Ability to complete required paperwork through basic reading and writing skills.
Ability to move up to 35 pounds.
Ability to obtain an industrial powered lift truck license.
Ability to obtain an overhead crane license.
Ability to be trained to operate a scissor lift truck.
General knowledge of various metal stamping equipment.
Preferred knowledge and use of a multimeter to check 3‑phase voltage on equipment.
