Responsibilities

Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

Organizes parts and subassemblies for an efficient assembly process.

Verifies specifications by measuring completed components/products.

Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifies supervisor to obtain additional resources.

Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for supplies, and verifying receipt of supplies.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1+ years of varied manufacturing experience in Mechanical Assembly

Bend and lift, loading and unloading workpieces onto pallets, and move from one workstation to another, alternately sitting and standing

Perform repetitive work more than 9 hours per day

Ability to quickly learn new blueprints and perform all necessary measurements
