Job Title: Assembly Technician Job Responsibilities
Perform general product assembly tasks such as fitting parts together, driving screws, applying labels, and cleaning parts/assemblies.
Execute cable assembly tasks, including cutting, stripping, crimping, and soldering wires according to work instructions, workflows, and schematics.
Assemble cables and terminate connectors by connecting wires, cables, and connectors using soldering irons, crimpers, and other hand tools.
Interpret engineering drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and wiring configurations.
Conduct quality inspections of assembled products to verify conformance using electrical testing equipment to ensure functionality and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to product assemblies, such as wiring errors, loose connections, defective components, or identifying ill‑fitting components.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify process improvements and implement best practices for cable assembly.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly, wire harnesses, and soldering with over 2 years of experience in wire harnessing, cables, and soldering.
Experience with electrical testing equipment, hand and measuring tools, and production wiring.
High School Diploma/GED (General Equivalency Diploma).
Shift & Pay
Monday–Friday
9 am – 5 pm
$22–28 /hour
