Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
CNC Machinist
to join a leading manufacturer of high-performance air-cooled heat exchangers in Tulsa. The
CNC Machinist
plays a critical role in precision fabrication, producing components used in global power generation and oil & gas operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong programming knowledge and hands‑on machining experience.
Must have experience with Inventor and Fusion 360 programming.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate
CNC machines , mills, drill presses, band saws, and other metalworking equipment
Perform drilling, boring, reaming, milling, countersinking, tapping, and notching with high precision
Machine components such as
header pipes, blind flanges, and shafts
to exact tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
Manage tooling and monitor machine performance throughout production
Track job progress and follow production schedules
Report task completion and maintain documentation
Follow all company safety procedures and policies
Requirements & Qualifications
Previous machine shop experience required
Strong understanding of machining tolerances and blueprint reading
Experience writing or editing CNC programs preferred
Required experience with Inventor and Fusion 360
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled, loud, and dusty environment
Willingness to wear required PPE (hearing protection, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, etc.)
