Description Tradesmen International is immediately hiring an experienced

Machinist

for projects located in and around

Ottawa County, MI . This is a first shift opportunity and the

pay rate is $30-$35/hour with $100/per diem

based on experience and skill level. If you are a Machinist eager to demonstrate your knowledge and skills while learning new ones, this is your chance to advance in your career!

Job Scope:

Machine shop work

Working with boring mills

Setting up jobs on the mills

Loading and fixating work pieces onto the work table

Adjusting programs using zero reference points and offsets

Calculating speeds and feeds

Making adjustments

Editing CNC programs to print

Using micrometers, telescoping gauges, vernier calipers and dial indicators to do quality checks on the parts

Requirements

Minimum of 3+ years of experience with CNC horizontal/vertical boring mills

Must be able to read blueprints

Must be able to use an overhead crane
