WHAT YOU WILL DO: As a Press Operator / Sheet Metal Technician, you'll be responsible for forming and fabricating precision components used in aerospace and defense applications.

Interpret sketches, routings, and product specifications to determine part requirements and manufacturing sequence

Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including shears, press brakes, forming presses, rolls, expanders, sandblasters, and hand grinders

Form, bend, cut, and straighten sheet metal to meet dimensional and quality requirements

Perform final deburring and finishing operations on completed parts and assemblies

Assemble components into supporting frameworks per drawings and specifications

Repair and rework sheet metal assemblies as needed, including disassembly and re-fit

Verify dimensional accuracy using measuring tools such as verniers, micrometers, and Pi tapes

Work closely with teammates and support functions to produce high-quality parts you're proud to put your name on

Follow safety, quality, and documentation requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment

WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:

High school diploma or GED with 2+ years of related sheet metal or fabrication experience

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and routings

Strong attention to detail, pride in craftsmanship, and a safety-first mindset
