The Dixon Group is looking for a
Machine Operator
to join our skilled manufacturing team in
Chestertown, MD ! In this hands‑on role, you’ll operate and maintain specialized machinery to produce high‑quality parts that power the agricultural industry. You’ll work with hydraulic presses, marking devices, and threading equipment to assemble precision components — and we’ll make sure you have the training and support to succeed. Experience in welding & plasma cutting is a strong plus!

Set up and load material into equipment
Operate specialized equipment safely, efficiently and precisely
Adjust machine settings to maintain quality and efficiency
Identify and isolate defective parts
Perform basic troubleshooting of machine issues
Adhere to safety protocols
Maintain a clean and organized work area
What We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or related coursework preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
>Willingness to learn, follow procedures, and work independently Reliable, team-oriented mindset with great time management
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Previous machine operation experience is a plus—but not required!
