Full-Time Maintenance Tech
on our campus. They will provide a safe environment for residents, guests and employees. They enhance the lives and nurture the growth of older persons by providing high quality service in a cheerful, timely manner and by communicating, coordinating and cooperating with others to attain goals.
The primary responsibility of the Maintenance Tech is to assist in all phases of Maintenance and Transportation keeping tasks throughout the Otterbein Campus. This includes completing assigned jobs related to painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, moving, mechanical and other general repairs. This also includes assisting with scheduled transportation.

Shift: Primarily Monday-Friday with rotating emergency on-call.
Responsibilities
Maintains a comfortable, safe and secure environment for the residents, their families, visitors and partners.
Performs a variety of general maintenance tasks, including general repairs, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.
Assists with moving of residents’ furnishings as needed.
Paintsresidents' living quarters as needed.
Assists with theon-going preventative maintenance program of cleaning, repairing and operating equipment, which minimizes abnormal equipment failure.
Assists with maintaining documentation of fire safety evacuation plan, fire drills, disaster plan, smoking policy, fire alarm testing,fire extinguisher maintenance and testing reports, generator testing logs, water temperatures, flame spread ratings of interior finishes, and other maintenance records.
Assists with transportation tasks as needed.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Interacts positively with residents, family members, guests and personnel
Follows all established policies, procedures and regulations to assure that quality resident care is maintained
Communicates, coordinates and cooperates with other team members
Maintains resident rights and confidentiality
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent is required
Experience:
General Maintenance - Electrical, Plumbing and Carpentry Experience, Mechanical Experience on H.V.A.C., Mowers and Vehicles.
