Pay rate: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.

What You’ll Do As A Mechanic I
Perform preventative maintenance on tractor and trailers.
Perform light repairs and minor electrical repairs.
Pressure test and diagnose coolant systems.
Check alignments and diagnose problems.
Drive or be trained to drive tractors and tractor‑trailer combinations.
Check and diagnose electrical systems.
Read preventative maintenance list and stay current on due tasks.
Perform light repairs on driver write‑ups and fuel island repairs.
Work Fuel Island as needed.
Clean shop areas as needed.
Maintain fleet tires.
Comply with company work and safety rules.
Communicate effectively both written and orally with supervisors and peers.
Follow directions.
Work independently and in a team.
Be trained and certified to operate required equipment within 30 days after hire.
Comply with the company attendance policy.
Maintain a flexible work schedule; be available for on‑call rotation and road calls using a company vehicle.
Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Mechanic I
High School Diploma or GED (Tech School classes or equivalent training preferred).
Valid Class C driver’s license.
Experience in preventative maintenance, minor repairs on tractor and trailers, electrical diagnostics, light repairs, dismounting and mounting tire machine, tire bars, and tire gun.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp, and reach above the head for extended periods.
Ability to read, write, and understand English for job tasks.
