Larkin Industries, Inc., located in Pelham, AL, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Welder to join our high-performance manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating laser welding equipment to fabricate precision metal components while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate laser welding machines and related equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
Align and weld components to precise specifications.
Perform quality inspections and ensure all welds meet internal standards.
Conduct routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of welding equipment.
Collaborate with engineering and quality teams as needed.
Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training preferred.
1–3 years of experience in laser welding or precision welding.
Proficiency using measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers, etc.).
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of specific laser welding systems (brand/model experience a plus).
