Commercial Laundry Service Technician

Job Description
We are a local commercial laundry service seeking a motivated service technician. This hands‑on role involves installing, troubleshooting, and servicing commercial laundry equipment in a variety of customer settings.
Requirements
18 years of age
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license (no company vehicle provided)
Some overnight travel
Experience in HVAC, electrical work, electro‑mechanical systems, automotive, or construction (preferred)
Multi‑lingual candidates encouraged
Job Duties
Install, diagnose, and repair commercial laundry equipment
Troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, air, and steam control systems
Read and analyze technical manuals, electrical schematics, and diagrams
Maintain a positive attitude while solving challenging technical problems
Team‑oriented mindset with willingness to learn
Consistently lift up to 75 pounds unassisted, crouching, bending, and work in tight spaces
Work independently and stay on task with minimal supervision
Engage professionally with customers and the public
Gradually build own set of tools (starter tools provided)
Follow all safety guidelines, respectful of work environments
Employer Notes
Employer will perform a DMV records check and a drug test prior to first day of employment
Must follow workplace expectations as provided in the company handbook
Training regardless of skill level
Hours
Full‑time, 40 hours (overtime available)
Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, occasional weekends or on‑call needs for emergency jobs
Wages US$17–22 per hour, depending on experience.
