Assembler I – 1st Shift (Manufacturing) performs basic assembly of conveyor products, follows work instructions, and works effectively in a team environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Basic assembly of company products, including framing conveyors and installing rollers, using general hand tools. Follow work instructions. Qualifications and Requirements
Ability to read a tape measure. Knowledge and use of personal basic hand tools, including impact, screwdrivers, wrenches. Ability to be trained and certified on overhead cranes and lockout tagout. Wear required PPE, including safety shoes and safety glasses. Maintain a clean work environment. Basic reading, writing, and basic math skills. Basic computer data entry skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Successful completion of 60‑day probationary period. Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. No experience required. Physical Demands
Light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds. Medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds. Heavy work that includes moving objects up to 100 pounds or more. Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing. Environmental Conditions
Low temperatures. High temperatures. Outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind. Noisy environments. Hazardous conditions. Poor ventilation. Small and/or enclosed spaces. AAP/EEO Statementh3>
