As a Machine Operator in the durable goods manufacturing sector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of various production machinery. Your primary focus will be to operate press brakes, saws, rollers, drills, etc. to maintain consistent product quality and meet production targets. You will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting machines to optimize performance and minimize downtime. Additionally, you will handle material movement using overhead cranes and forklifts, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety protocols. Your attention to detail and precision in tasks such as deburring and measuring with micrometers will directly impact the final product's quality and the overall success of the manufacturing process. Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience operating production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read technical drawings and specifications. Familiarity with safety standards and procedures related to machine operation. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, standing for extended periods, and operating heavy equipment. Preferred Qualifications

Certification or training in machine operation or manufacturing processes. Experience with durable goods manufacturing specifically. Knowledge of quality control procedures and use of precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Experience with preventive maintenance and minor machine repairs. Responsibilities

Operate press brakes, saws, rollers, drills, etc. to ensure continuous production flow. Set up and adjust machines according to specifications, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent equipment malfunctions. Use overhead cranes and forklifts to safely move raw materials and finished products within the production area. Perform deburring and precision measurements using micrometers to maintain product quality and compliance with engineering standards. Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or deviations to supervisors promptly. Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and company policies to promote a safe working environment.
