Machine Operator
to join our team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machinery to ensure efficient production cycles and high‑quality output. A strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous learning is essential. Welding experience is a plus!
Responsibilities Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to prepare for production cycles. Control and adjust machine settings such as speed and feed rate. Load raw materials or parts into semi‑automated machines. Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools. Test machine operations periodically to ensure proper function. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during shifts. Check output to detect flaws or errors and take corrective action. Maintain logs of production activities, approved units, and defects. Ensure all work follows health, safety, and quality standards.
Requirements & Skills Experience with bandsaws, ironworkers, press brakes, and other machines. Working knowledge of high‑speed machinery and precision tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals. Understanding of production processes and safety procedures. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities. Physical stamina and strength for repetitive and manual tasks. High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or degree preferred). Welding experience is a plus.
