Electrician

Job Overview Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of electrical equipment in the facility.

Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance tickets (PM’s)

Inspect electrical equipment daily

Inspect production lines daily

Troubleshoot equipment failures

Work with shift operation supervision to advise equipment down time as required

Installation and repair of equipment

Qualifications

Training or technical degree in industrial electricity

Extensive experience in hydraulics & pneumatics

PLC and Inverter drives

Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

Knowledge of electrical principles and electronics

Knowledge of diverse electrical equipment

Proficient with electrical instruments, hand and power tools

Experience working on high bay overhead cranes

Excellent safety and attendance record

Strong communications skills
