Responsibilities
Operate and maintain plant power distribution and plant service systems.
Work safely as a team member and individual.
Perform preventative maintenance, emergent repairs, installation of plant power, water treatment, and ancillary equipment.
Collaborate with millwrights and water treatment operators to perform daily maintenance and ensure work is done safely.
Required Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to employ TCOS fundamentals.
High proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, critical thinking, and problem solving.
Understanding of power distribution up to 345 kV, substation operation (incl. SVC), and MV/LV motors with associated motor controls.
Programming experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and Modicon PLCs and their associated communication protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 5 years working as an electrician or electronics technician in an industrial environment.
Experience organizing electrical preventative/predictive maintenance.
Experience overseeing contractor work.
