The Opportunity

We have an opportunity for a Maintenance Technician at our folding carton plant in Claremont, NC. The main function of the Maintenance Tech is to manage electrical and mechanical maintenance of our manufacturing machinery. Pay is commensurate with experience. Our current shift schedule is 3 12‑hour shifts with rotation: 2 weeks of days and 2 weeks of nights.

Essential Responsibilities

Assume the role and responsibilities of all Claremont Plant equipment working in a safe and efficient manner

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical breakdowns as well as pneumatic, hydraulic, and general building maintenance

Install new and upgrade equipment as needed

Troubleshoot and repair all equipment to keep production going in a timely manner

Assist with inventory to identify parts and new parts to prevent minimum breakdown or machine downtime

Perform preventive and operational maintenance to ensure a functional and safe environment

Maintain records utilizing the computer of all work completed, time spent, and materials used

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. when completing various tasks.

What You Need To Succeed

2+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.

Have a safe work history and perform safe work habits.

Possess good written and verbal communication skills.

Be a self‑starter and a team‑oriented employee.

Have knowledge of general machine shop equipment (welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipefitting, air compressors, fire protection, and automation).

Both Mechanical and Electrical experience.

PLC troubleshooting experience a plus.

Candidates are required to undergo a drug screening after receiving a conditional job offer, but before starting employment.
