Job Overview TE Connectivity's Stamping Teams operate assigned automated stamping machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to the production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.
Shift Options Swing Shift: Monday through Friday working 7 am to 3 pm one week and 3 pm to 11 pm the following week. Rotates weekly.
Shift differential: 5%
2nd Shift: Monday through Friday working 3 pm to 11 pm.
Shift differential: 10%
3rd Shift: Sunday through Friday from 11 pm to 7 am.
Shift differential: 10%
Job Requirements
Perform scheduled maintenance and troubleshoot the assigned automated stamping machinery, and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity.
Unload, pack parts for shipment, remove and clear scrap from the press as required, and accurately document the number of parts and their specifications.
Maintain a safe work environment, following standard operating procedures, regulations regarding hazardous material, and other safety regulations for the machines and equipment.
Support periodic inspections and tests to evaluate the condition of different machine parts; share critical feedback with engineers and supervisors.
What your background should look like In addition to the responsibilities listed above, candidates should:
Move within a team setting to keep stamping presses running.
Perform all the quality checks necessary to produce quality product.
Make stock changes and replace stock dies.
Assist in setting up auxiliary equipment needed to run presses.
Remove jams and perform minor die repair work.
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Must successfully complete a print reading and precision measuring skills review by the position supervisor.
