Responsibilities
Set up, edit, and operate CNC machines, including Mazak machines (experience preferred and highly valued)
Operate multi-axis CNC horizontal, vertical machining centers, and turning centers
Select proper cutting tools, speeds, and feeds from documentation
Read and interpret technical blueprints and machining documents
Conduct part inspections and quality checks using SPC and other tools
Perform routine preventative maintenance and follow all ISO safety/quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with leads and supervisors and communicate across departments
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
13 years of CNC machining experience
Experience working on Mazak machines (please specify how many years)
Ability to read blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions
Basic math skills including geometry and trigonometry
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Willingness and flexibility to train on 1st or mid-shift, then transition to 2nd shift
Must supply personal hand tools and toolbox
CNC certification preferred
Salary Hourly: $28 - $35 USD
