Monday to Friday ongoing with FULL-TIME hours
DAY SHIFT (6AM – 2.30pm) – $40.00 per hour + SUPER
AFTERNOON SHIFT (2.30PM – 11.00pm) – $46.00 per hour + SUPER
Our client based in Heathwood is getting extremely busy and is currently in need of quality 2nd Class Welders to start work Mid-January. These roles are ideal for experienced non-trade welders who value working with good equipment, understands precision welding and fabrication, and wants to produce high-quality work in a professional production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Light gauge sheet metal fabrication experience required
TIG and MIG welding of Aluminium to a high standard
Fabrication of Aluminium, steel, and stainless-steel components
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and job specifications
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, accuracy, and finish
Ensuring a safe, clean, and organised workspace
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, Welder / Fabricator
Strong TIG or MIG Aluminium welding experience (essential)
Experience working with light gauge materials
Confident operating press brakes and fabrication equipment
Ability to read and work from technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality outcomes
Forklift license advantageous but not essential
