Refrigeration Technician – 608 Certification Required
Shift: Sunday – Thursday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm
Pay: $38.00 – $40.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position Summary A Refrigeration Technician diagnoses, overhauls, adjusts, and repairs all series of motor truck and trailer equipment, with the primary focus on refrigeration unit maintenance equipment designed for commercial trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair components on truck and trailer reefer units.
Perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service on refrigeration equipment.
Use diagnostic scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers.
Install new units on trailers, trucks, and vans.
Review shop orders and complete other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
3+ years’ experience working on Thermo King or Carrier reefer units.
Must be 608 certified and have specialized training in overhaul of refrigeration components.
Proficiency in use of necessary trade tools.
Ability to move, stand, walk, sit and lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
Work in a non-climate-controlled environment; willing to travel as necessary.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; own your own tools.
