Entry Level Diesel Mechanic

Join us as we keep fleets moving across the country. Our “FleeTec Academy” offers paid, hands‑on training that turns eager individuals into certified mobile diesel mechanics.
Program Summary
4‑week full‑time, paid classroom instruction at our Indy Academy Campus.
All travel, accommodation and meals covered.
Free technical education on diesel engines, vehicle diagnostics and repair.
Hands‑on field training with a Lead Technician after the classroom phase.
At the end of the multi‑year curriculum, you receive a permanent full‑time Mobile Diesel Mechanic position and keep your tool kit.
Pay & Stipend
Initial pay: $13.72/hr (or state minimum wage, whichever is higher) + $250 weekly stipend.
After 6 weeks: $19/hr.
Four‑week second class at Indy: $19/hr + $250 weekly stipend.
Upon graduation: $21/hr.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics and general repairs on mobile fleet trucks and trailers at customer locations.
Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards while working onsite.
Collaborate with senior technicians to troubleshoot complex diesel engine issues.
Requirements
Willingness to study hard and devote 4 weeks away from home.
Strong technical aptitude and passion for fixing vehicles.
Ability to operate an iPad and use diagnostic equipment.
Must be 21 years or older to operate fleet trucks.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required).
Subject to background checks, driving record reviews, pre‑employment drug testing and a medical examination.
