Spring Up Opportunity with Bernhardt Furniture As a

Spring Up Assembler

at Bernhardt, you will play a key role in our operations by:

Transporting furniture frame to workstation and positioning it on the work surface (table, lift, or bucks).

Identifying and sorting necessary springs based on frame type and seat specifications.

Securing springs to frame using appropriate patterns, utilizing hand tools such as staple guns, mallets, clinchers, and other spring‑up equipment.

Installing metal bands and other reinforcement elements for firmness and support, as per design requirements.

Applying additional components, including coils.

Inspecting completed work for flaws or inconsistencies; correcting all errors before transitioning to the next production stage.

Cleaning up workspace, labeling finished units properly, and maintaining organization.

Maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures and brand integrity guidelines.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year’s experience in furniture upholstery or a related field.

Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple tasks.

Team‑oriented with a creative approach to problem‑solving.

Receptive to direction and constructive feedback.

Highly detail‑oriented and committed to delivering quality craftsmanship.

Reliable attendance and punctuality record.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.

Regular handling of heavy materials, tools, and furniture components.

Manual dexterity for hand tool operation and intricate tasks.
