Want to be part of a winning team? This is your chance! We are looking for experienced carpenters with general construction background. Candidates must be able to work as part of a team on large-scale and/or residential projects. They must possess practical skills, mastery of manual techniques, and be available to work day shifts, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Take measurements and calculate material needs.
Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials.
Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures.
Build frameworks.
Use hand and power tools.
Ensure safety and quality.
Collaborate with other professionals.
Skills
Proven experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading.
Problem solving.
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication techniques.
Attention to detail.
Physical stamina & dexterity.
Time management and good communication.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Proficiency in using hand and power tools for cutting, assembly, and finishing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical specifications. Knowledge of safety protocols to prevent accidents. Two years of experience in carpentry and reliable transportation.
This position requires the employee be on move constantly and work in a bent-over position. The employee must be able to effectively troubleshoot technical issues and be in good physical condition to lift heavy objects. A focus on quality work and a commitment to safety are essential.
